Paul Thomas Saunders’ debut album ‘Beautiful Desolation’ was released in 2014 through Atlantic Records. Written and recorded in Leeds, it was produced solely by Paul and his bandmate, Max Prior. It was mixed by Craig Silvey (The Horrors’ 'Still Life', Arcade Fire’s 'The Suburbs'). Paul, a former member of Lichfield Cathedral choir, recorded the album in a hotel gatehouse on the outskirts of Leeds, before moving down to Brighton where he currently lives. Informed by the Greek electronic composer Vangelis and Jean-Claude Vannier, 'Beautiful Desolation' is a record of vast space and atmosphere, driven by this unique artist’s soaring vocal. His latest single ‘Holding On For Love’ was released through RT60 Recordings/AWAL on 26th May.
